Unmistakable Outfits of Legendary Musicians

Iconic musicians like Michael Jackson, David Bowie, and Freddie Mercury are known for more than just their musical talents. Their unique fashion sense and wild costumes are crucial elements of their popularity. Given their legendary mark on fashion in pop culture, it shouldn't be too hard to spot the celebrity in Singapore-based graphic designer Medness' Iconic Musician Outfits illustration.

The artist's series of images present a nearly minimalist view of some of the most recognizably iconic outfits donned by famous musicians at the height of their careers. From MC Hammer's puffy “Hammer pants” to the Destroyer costume worn by Gene Simmons of KISS, these fashion choices are synonymous with their respective originators. Whether you're of the musician's generation or not, many of these outfits break the boundaries of time. Who isn't familiar with Elvis Presley's flashy jumpsuits?

If you like this series, you might also like guessing the famous film by the outfit in Candice Milon's photo series or recognizing iconic hairstyles in Patricia Pvoa's Copyrighted Famous Hairs.
