So, gay characters are exaggerated in Bollywood movies... Like every other character is. I love Bollywood movies, and when I read stories like this I feel like people were just looking for something to bitch about. Gay characters are almost always exaggerated stereotypes in every country. In fact, I would say that gay cinema are worse at this then heterosexuals written films. Why? Stereotypes are easier to understand in a limiting length of a film, and stereotypes are an easy way to add humor. That doesn't make it right, but it does explain why it happens.
