Milan Show: Kawasaki Z1000 Special

Some specials are definitely more special than others – and this one has caused MCN Senior Reporter Andy Downes to ‘have a slight crisis’ on the Kawasaki stand in Milan.

Built as a one-off for Kawasaki’s 40th anniversary of the Z model line, this absolutely stunning Z1000-based creation marries modern cycle parts to the iconic styling of the original Z900.

If you’re wondering where the radiator is – it’s been hidden under the seat unit, with fans sucking air from under the tank to cool the Z1000 motor. Those chromed megaphone pipes should add a soundtrack as inspiring as the looks, too.
